Ever wonder why some characters stay in your head for weeks - sometimes years - after you finish a book? Or why with some books, not only can you see what's happening, you can also hear, smell, feel, and taste it?

You can create memorable, resonant characters and vivid settings; you might just need a little help. You'll get it at D.E. Johnson's Character & Setting Workshop. He will share examples that are particularly strong in these areas, and you will learn to apply the lessons to your own writing (as well as get the chance to put those lessons to the test). Come ready to write!
