You can show your support of community television in Midland by becoming an MCTV underwriter. There are different levels of support from which you can choose, and different ways you/your organization will be recognized for your support.  Click here to download an underwriter agreement form.

The four channels that comprise the MCTV Network - MCTV 99, MCTV 97, MGTV 96, and MPS 98 - reach over 20,000 subscribers in the City of Midland and the surrounding area. Approximately 285 individuals are paid MCTV access users from the city of Midland or Midland County who submit programs for cablecast, submit message boards, or c) use MCTV’s production equipment to create programming.

MCTV contributes to the sense of community here in Midland. Most of the major non-profit organizations and many churches have a presence on MCTV. Thanks to the efforts of many volunteers, viewers can watch community events, high school sports, and concerts. Viewers can also learn about the help that United Way and other social service agencies can provide to help a person or family get through a difficult time.

Citizens are also more aware of what’s happening in local government by watching the meetings of the City Council, County Board or the Midland Public Schools Board of Education. MCTV is also a First Amendment, Free Speech forum which adds to the dialogue of our democracy.
