MCTV Video Camp for Kids
Instead of watching TV, kids can
learn to make TV shows! Kids ages 12-17
who are residents of the city or county of Midland are invited to sign up to learn how to
create a TV program during MCTV’s Video Camps, generally held during
spring break and the summertime.
Through the camps, students learn how to be a director or technical director, run studio and field cameras, make graphics, and edit video. They learn these skills by producing half-hour shows that air shortly after the trainings on MGTV Cable Channel 96,
Midland's government channel.
Summer Video Camp: This year's camps run June 24-27 and
August 5-8. The camps are open to kids between the ages
of 12-17 who are residents of the city/county of Midland. The cost
to participate is $50.
To register, call MCTV at 989-837-3474. You can also download the application
below,
fill it in, and bring it along with your $50 payment to MCTV's
offices in the lower level of the Grace A. Dow Memorial Library, 1710 W. St. Andrews, Midland, Mich.
It's a great opportunity... don't miss it!
