Permit Expiration Dates

Projects must be completed before the permit(s) issued for them expire.

The following permits are good for 180 days from the date of issuance or from the last inspection:

• building

• electrical

• plumbing

• mechanical

• fence

• mobile home

• grading

• zoning compliance

Sign permits are good for 60 days from the date of issuance or the last inspection.

Soil erosion and sedimentation control permits are good for one year.

EXTENDING PERMITS:   Upon request, permits can be extended to one year. Such requests must be made in writing and mailed to or dropped off at the Building Department at the following address:
