Pay Many City of Midland Bills by Credit or Debit Card
The City of Midland Treasurerís Office accepts select credit and debit cards for
some City bills.
Since 2007, citizens have been able to pay their City of Midland
online using VISA or MasterCard, or debit
cards with the VISA or MasterCard logo on them. Now, citizens can use
these cards to make payments at the Treasurerís Office - located at Midland City
Hall - for a variety of
City services and items, such as these:
- Water bills
- Water connections
- Parking tickets (*as of March 2012, online payment feature disabled until
- Accounts Receivable invoices
- Permits (Building, Electrical, Engineering, Mechanical, Plumbing)
- Contractor registrations
- Rental inspections
- Handbill distributor licenses
- Yard waste bins and annual renewal fees
- Household refuse bins
- Midland Municipal Cemetery fees
- Freedom of Information Act (FOIA) fees
- MCTV Network user fees

Payments may be made at the City Treasurerís Office only. The office is located on the first floor of City Hall,
333 W. Ellsworth St., Midland, Mich.
The City will continue to accept checks or cash for all City service/item payments.
Credit/Debit Cards Not Accepted for Property Tax Payments
Due to the potentially high costs to conduct transactions, the City is unable to accept credit or debit cards for property tax payments.
Auto-Pay Automatic Funds Withdrawal
Citizens may opt to pay their taxes electronically through the Cityís
Automatic Funds Withdrawal program. This free service allows property owners to have funds automatically withdrawn from their checking or savings
bank account on the date that taxes are due. Click here below for an

This same service is offered to City water and sewer customers through the Utilities Division. Bills are paid quarterly according to the Cityís billing cycle. Click here to find out more about
