Poetry Contest & Judging

Beginning March 1, 2007 students Grades 6-12 in the Grace A. Dow Memorial Library service area are invited to participate in our Teen Poetry Contest. Poetry will be judged in two groups-Grades 6-8 and Grades 9-12. A panel of judges will determine contest winners.


Prizes

Gift Certificates are awarded from Barnes & Noble.

    First Prize $35.00
    Second Prize$25.00
    Third Prize $20.00
    Honorable Mention $10.00


Café Muse

Winners will be invited to read their poetry & receive their awards at 8 pm the evening of April 26 during Café Muse. Café Muse - a night of Teen Poetry held in the Library Lounge from 7 - 9 pm.  Awards will be given at 8 pm.


Please submit completed entry form and poetry submission(s) by mail or in person to:
