Register for this workshop in person or by calling the Reference Desk at 837-3449.

Come and learn techniques of writing from Michigan author Mardi Link.

Writers will read examples of compelling scenes, will learn the difference between a scene that makes a reader turn the page and one that makes a reader put down the book or magazine and will have the chance to apply the simple techniques of scene writing in their own work.

Mardi Link

is the author of two historic true crime books, When Evil Came to Good Hart and Isadore's Secret, both published by the University of Michigan Press. Isadore's Secret was named a Michigan Notable Book and a "Great Lakes, Great Read."
