Duncan, L.             HOTEL FOR DOGS.  Liz and her brother try to keep secret the fact that they have nine dogs and need to find homes for them.

 

Farley, W.              THE BLACK STALLION.  Shipwrecked Alex Ramsey tries to tame a magnificent wild horse.

 

George, J.C.           JULIE OF THE WOLVES.  A 13-year-old Eskimo girl becomes lost after running away from home, but is befriended by a wolf pack.  SEQUEL:  JULIE.

 

George, J.C.           THERE’S AN OWL IN THE SHOWER.  The spotted owls cost Borden’s father his job as a logger, so Borden plans to kill any spotted owl he sees.
