CITY OFFICES ANNOUNCE

CHRISTMAS AND NEW YEAR'S

HOLIDAY CLOSINGS

All City of Midland offices will close Monday, December 25, in recognition of the Christmas holiday and Monday, January 1, in recognition of the New Year's holiday.

Residents with Monday refuse and recycling collections should place items at the curb on Tuesday, December 26 and January 2. Place items at the curb no later than 8:00 a.m. to insure collection, as the schedule accelerates due to the double collection.

The city landfill will be closed on Monday, December 25 and January 1. However, the landfill will be open Saturday, December 30 and January 6 from 8:30 a.m. - noon.

The Grace A. Dow Memorial Library will be closed on December 24, 25 & 31 and also January 1.

Dial-A-Ride transportation service will operate between 8:30 a.m. and 1:30 p.m. on December 24 and 31. DART will not operate on December 25 or January 1.

Barstow Airport will be unattended on December 25 and January 1.
