CITY OF MIDLAND RECOGNIZES BEAUTIFICATION EFFORTS

The beautification efforts at Dahlia Hill and The Tridge, along with 22 additional residents and businesses, will be recognized on Thursday, November 1 at the annual Appreciation of Beautification Awards ceremony.

Scheduled for 7 p.m. in City Council Chambers, the Appreciation of Beautification Awards, sponsored by the City of Midland Beautification Advisory Committee, recognizes individuals, groups or organizations that have made improvements which are aesthetically pleasing and have a positive impact on the Midland community and its neighborhoods.

Awards will be presented in five categories: Residential Landscaping, Nonresidential Landscaping, Residential Structural/Site Improvement, Special Recognition and the Bette R. Tollar Civic Commitment Award.

The Beautification Advisory Committee is a subcommittee of the City of Midland Parks and Recreation Commission.
