RECEPTION PLANNED FOR

FORMER MIDLAND COUNCILMAN JOHN COPPAGE

The public is invited to attend a reception recognizing former Second Ward Councilman John S. Coppage for his 12 years of service on Midland City Council. The reception is scheduled for Monday, December 3 from 5:45 - 6:45 p.m. in the atrium of Midland City Hall, 333 W. Ellsworth Street.

Coppage has served as the second ward councilman for six consecutive terms since first being elected in November 1989. He served one year as mayor from November 1992 until November 1993.

Coppage chose not to seek reelection in the 2001 election. Daryl L. Griggs replaces him as councilman to the second ward.
