PORTION
OF B.R. US-10 / M-20 Work COMPLETED
EASTBOUND
B.R. US-10 / M-20 CROSSOVER REOPENS
Eastbound traffic on B.R. US-10 / M-20 may now access the crossover to E. Patrick Rd. and Saginaw Rd.
The
Westbound Business Route US-10 / M-20 closure is expected to continue through the
week of May 13 as the Michigan Department of Transportation (MDOT) removes and
reconstructs a section of B.R. US-10 / M-20 from the Patrick Rd. median
crossover to west of Washington St.
Westbound
B.R. US-10 / M-20 traffic should continue to watch for detours.
M-20
TRAFFIC and all truck traffic entering the City from US-10 westbound will be
routed to the Eastman Ave. exit and then south along Eastman Ave. back to
M-20.
B.R.
US-10 (local traffic) and non-truck traffic entering the City of Midland from
US-10 westbound will be routed to the Bay City Rd. exit where traffic will be
detoured west on Bay City Rd., north on N. Saginaw Rd., west on Haley St. south
on Bayliss St. to E. Patrick Rd.
Washington
Ave. will be reduced to one lane of traffic in each direction, but will remain
open. A majority of the two one-ways
through town (Indian and Buttles Streets) will be reduced to one lane in each
direction from Jerome St. to Washington St. while MDOT performs concrete joint
repairs.
This
$1.5 million MDOT reconstruction/rehabilitation project will extend the life of
the roadway 15-20 years with some scheduled preventive maintenance. The traveling public will notice a
much-improved ride along this important corridor.
