Motorists on Washington St. should watch for several construction projects during the upcoming week.
Beginning 8 a.m. Monday, May 13 Washington St. will be closed at Meadowbrook for water main construction. The roadway is expected to open by the end of the day.
Northbound Washington St. traffic will be detoured via Cruz and Mattes Dr. while southbound Washington St. traffic will be detoured to Meadowbrook, Concord and Norwich Streets.
On Tuesday, May 14, Washington St. will be reduced to one lane of traffic in each direction from Saginaw Rd. to Airfield Ln. as crews begin to replace the water main in that area.
