ABBOTT RD. CLOSED fRIDAY AND SATURDAY

Abbott Rd. between E. Patrick Road and Eastlawn Dr. will be closed beginning 9 p.m. on Friday, August 30 and will reopen at 9 p.m. on Saturday, August 31.

This portion of Abbott Rd. is not a public roadway, but a private road owned by The Dow Chemical Company. The periodic closure of the road by Dow is legally necessary to maintain the private road status. The closing date was chosen to cause minimal disruption for both the public and Dow personnel.

The Dow Center will remain open, however, employees and contractors will need to access the site from Swede Ave.
