Impaired driving is one of the most often committed crimes, randomly killing someone every 30 minutes. That means you or your family and friends are just as likely to be innocent victims. The chances are great that you or someone you know will be affected.
The Midland Police Department Traffic Safety Team will target impaired drivers as part of the national “You Drink. You Drive. You Lose.” Campaign from June 27 through July 13.
Being impaired while driving has criminal consequences that could include fines, the loss of driving privileges, incarceration, higher insurance rates and a criminal record.
The message of the program is clear. Make the right choice—don’t drink and drive.
Please drive carefully and responsibly and make Midland a safe place to live, work and play.
