ABBOTT ROAD CLOSED fRIDAY AND SATURDAY

Abbott Road between E. Patrick Road and Eastlawn Drive will be closed for 24 hours beginning 9 p.m. on Friday, September 3 and will reopen at 9 p.m. on Saturday, September 4.

This portion of Abbott Road is not a public roadway, but a private road owned by The Dow Chemical Company. The periodic closure of the road by Dow is legally necessary to maintain the private road status. The closing date was chosen to cause minimal disruption for both the public and Dow personnel.

The Dow Center will remain open; however, employees and contractors will need to access the site from Swede Avenue.
