ELISENAL DRIVE NOW OPEN

Motorists have a new way to reach destinations in the Eastman Avenue area just north of US-10. Elisenal Drive, a new two-lane road east of Eastman that stretches north and south from Joe Mann Boulevard to Commerce Drive, is now open to through traffic.  

The new street will provide an additional route for motorists in one of the city’s busiest business areas. It will also allow drivers another way to bypass construction on Eastman Avenue, which is currently being expanded to five lanes.

With the 2004 construction season well underway, motorists are encouraged to sign up for weekly and last-minute construction updates by subscribing to City Hall News on the City of Midland website at www.midland-mi.org under the e-news heading. Motorists may also check the construction page on the City of Midland website for construction detour maps and details. Look for this on the City of Midland website under the “What’s New” heading.
