GOLFSIDE DRIVE CONSTRUCTION PROJECT

BEGINS TUESDAY;

CURRIE PARKWAY BRIDGE CLOSED ON TUESDAY

Lane closures are expected on Golfside Drive between Currie Parkway and Isabella Street (M-20) for a water main construction and street paving project scheduled to begin on Tuesday, August 31. As part of the project, Currie Parkway, including the Currie Parkway Bridge, will be closed for the day on Tuesday from Main Street to Golfside Drive. Detours will be posted.

The project completion date has been set for October 15.

Those heading to the Trilogy Skate Park at Chippewassee Park can access Golfside Drive from Currie Parkway Drive via Isabella Street (M-20).

With the 2004 construction season well underway, motorists are encouraged to sign up for weekly and last-minute construction updates by subscribing to City Hall News on the City of Midland website at www.midland-mi.org under the “What’s New” heading.
