LOAD RESTRICTIONS LIFTED FOR

COUNTRYSIDE DRIVE AND GREEN ROAD IN MIDLAND

Load restrictions on Countryside Drive and Green Road within the Midland city limits, in effect since March 1, will be lifted as of Monday, April 19.

In accordance with Michigan frost law, the City of Midland implemented load restrictions on those roadways for commercial and industrial trucks and trailers. Load restrictions, usually enforced during the spring thaw season, can help ensure a longer life for paved roads.

Signs indicating the weight restrictions will be removed by the end of the day on April 19.
