ST. CHARLES STREET AND WHITMAN DRIVE

CONSTRUCTION PROJECT STARTING MONDAY

St. Charles Street and Whitman Drive between Poseyville Road and Towsley Street will be closed to through traffic for a street reconstruction project beginning Monday, Sept. 27.

A detour route will be posted utilizing Grey, Ashby and Poseyville roads.

The project is expected to be completed by October 29.

With the 2004 construction season well underway, motorists are encouraged to sign up for weekly and last-minute construction updates by subscribing to City Hall News on the City of Midland website at www.midland-mi.org under the “What’s New/Updates” heading. Motorists may also check the construction page on the City of Midland website for construction detour maps and details.
