WATER MAIN REPLACEMENT ON CORNING LANE,

SAUVE STREET AND BAY CITY ROAD BEGINNING WEDNESDAY

The City of Midland will replace water mains on Sauve Street, Corning Lane and Bay City Road from Saginaw Road to Sauve beginning Wednesday, April 28. It is anticipated that construction will be completed by the end of June.

The project will begin with Sauve Street, followed by Corning Lane and then Bay City Road. Sauve and Corning will be open for local traffic during construction. Bay City Road will be reduced to one lane at various times during the project.

As the 2004 construction season gets underway, motorists are encouraged to sign up for weekly and last minute construction updates by subscribing to City Hall News on the City of Midland website at www.midland-mi.org under the e-news heading. Motorists may also check the construction page on the City of Midland website for construction detour maps and details. Look for this on the City of Midland website under the “What’s New” heading.
