PORTION OF WHEELER STREET

CLOSED ON TUESDAY FOR WATER MAIN PROJECT

On Tuesday, Sept. 7, Wheeler Street between Swede Avenue and Claremont Street will be closed for a water main project near the Plymouth Park Water Tower. This section of Wheeler Street is expected to reopen by the end of the day on Tuesday.

Detours will be posted to route traffic around the construction area.

With the 2004 construction season well underway, motorists are encouraged to sign up for weekly and last-minute construction updates by subscribing to City Hall News on the City of Midland website at www.midland-mi.org under the “What’s New/Updates” heading. Motorists may also check the construction page on the City of Midland website for construction detour maps and details. Look for this on the City of Midland website under the “What’s New/Updates” heading.
