WHEELER STREET BETWEEN JEFFERSON AND

WASHINGTON CLOSED STARTING THURSDAY

Wheeler Street between Jefferson Avenue and Washington Street will be closed beginning Thursday for a water main construction project. The project is expected to be completed by Saturday, October 9.

Motorists can use Jefferson Avenue, Sugnet Road and Washington Street as a detour route for the duration of the project.

With the 2004 construction season well underway, motorists are encouraged to sign up for weekly and last-minute construction updates by subscribing to City Hall News on the City of Midland website at www.midland-mi.org under the “What’s New/Updates” heading. Motorists may also check the construction page on the City of Midland website for construction detour maps and details. Look for this on the City of Midland website under the “What’s New/Updates” heading.
