EASTLAWN DRIVE CLOSED TUESDAY FOR SEWER REPAIRS

Beginning Tuesday, October 4, Abbott Road from Patrick Road to Eastlawn Drive will be closed for a sewer repair project. The project is expected to be complete in two days.

Motorists headed for The Dow Chemical Company’s Corporate Center will be able to access the Abbott Road entrance from Eastlawn Drive, but not from Patrick Road. Motorists should seek alternate routes around the construction area to avoid traffic congestion and delays.

With the 2005 construction season still underway, motorists are encouraged to sign up for weekly and last-minute construction updates by subscribing to City Hall News on the City of Midland website at www.midland-mi.org under the “What’s New/Updates” heading. Motorists may also check the construction updates page on the City of Midland website for construction detour maps and details. Look under the “What’s New/Updates” heading.
