PORTIONS OF ASHMAN STREET CLOSED

INTERMITTENTLY STARTING TUESDAY

Starting Tuesday, July 5, paving operations will cause intermittent street closures for portions of Ashman Street between Ann and Ellsworth streets and the intersection of Ashman and Main streets.

Ashman Street will be closed a block at a time while paving is taking place. Traffic will be routed around the closures using flag control.

The work is expected to be complete on Friday, July 15.

With the 2005 construction season now underway, motorists are encouraged to sign up for weekly and last-minute construction updates by subscribing to City Hall News on the City of Midland website at www.midland-mi.org under the “What’s New/Updates” heading. Motorists may also check the construction updates page on the City of Midland website for construction detour maps and details. Look under the “What’s New/Updates” heading.
