ASHMAN STREET BETWEEN GROVE AND BUTTLES STREETS

REDUCED TO ONE LANE FOR WATER MAIN REPAIR

Ashman Street from Grove to Buttles streets has been reduced to one lane for a water main repair project. Buttles will also be reduced from three lanes to two at its intersection with Ashman Street for the construction work, which is expected to be completed in about a week.

Motorists should seek alternate routes around the construction area to avoid traffic congestion and delays.

With the 2005 construction season still underway, motorists are encouraged to sign up for weekly and last-minute construction updates by subscribing to City Hall News on the City of Midland website at www.midland-mi.org under the “What’s New/Updates” heading.
