CITY TO START ANNUAL STREET
CRACK SEALING PROGRAM MONDAY

Beginning Monday, June 13, cracks in sections of various streets in Midland will be repaired as part of the City of Midland’s annual crack sealing program.

The following streets will be completed in the order in which they are listed:

STREET LIMITS

Wackerly Street Sturgeon Creek Parkway to Sturgeon Avenue

Carpenter Street Eastman Avenue to Ashman Street

Jefferson Avenue Patrick Road to the Ashman Circle

Saginaw Road Sugnet Road to the Ashman Circle

Saginaw Road Patrick Road to the Ashman Circle

Wheeler Street Saginaw Road to Jefferson Avenue

Whitman Drive/Atwell Street Towsley Street to Pine River Road

Eastlawn Drive Abbott Road to Washington Street

Airport Road Eastman Avenue to Dublin Road

Eastman Avenue U.S. 10 to Joe Mann Boulevard

There will be intermittent lane closures on these streets while crews apply crack sealing material to the roadways. The project is expected to be complete by Friday, June 24.

With the 2005 construction season now underway, motorists are encouraged to sign up for weekly and last-minute construction updates by subscribing to City Hall News on the City of Midland website at www.midland-mi.org under the “What’s New/Updates” heading.
