PORTION OF EASTBOUND MAIN STREET TO CLOSE
BEGINNING MONDAY, JUNE 13

As part of the Ashman Streetscape improvement project, eastbound Main Street will be closed for the construction of crosswalks on the south side of the street from McDonald to Gordon streets beginning Monday, June 13. This single lane closure is expected to be in place for approximately one week. 

Westbound Main Street, which has undergone similar enhancements, will be open.

Detour routes include McDonald, Larkin and Gordon streets.

With the 2005 construction season now underway, motorists are encouraged to sign up for weekly and last-minute construction updates by subscribing to City Hall News on the City of Midland website at www.midland-mi.org under the “What’s New/Updates” heading. Motorists may also check the construction updates page on the City of Midland website for construction detour maps and details. Look under the “What’s New/Updates” heading.
