EASTLAWN DRIVE CONSTRUCTION PROJECTS

STARTING THURSDAY AND MONDAY

As part of the Swede Avenue reconstruction project, water main will be installed across Eastlawn Drive at Swede Avenue beginning Thursday, August 18.

This work will require temporary closure of Eastlawn Drive from Swede Avenue to Carolina Street. Traffic will be detoured using E. Haley and Carolina streets. It is estimated that this work will be completed in two days. 

On Monday, August 22, Eastlawn Drive will be closed from Abbott Road to Swede Avenue for storm sewer repair. These repairs are estimated to be completed in one day. Eastlawn traffic will be detoured via Swede, Patrick and Abbott roads during this closure.

Swede Avenue remains closed from E. Ashman Street to Eastlawn Drive until approximately the end of September.
