PORTIONS OF ELLSWORTH STREET

NEAR ASHMAN STREET CLOSED STARTING FRIDAY

Beginning Friday, July 8, Ellsworth Street will be closed on the east side of Ashman Street for a crosswalk installation project. Motorists will not be able to access eastbound Ellsworth Street from Ashman Street. However, vehicles can access this section of Ellsworth using McDonald Street.

Starting Monday, July 11, Ellsworth Street on the west side of Ashman will also be closed for crosswalk installation. Ellsworth traffic will be routed to Larkin Street.

Ashman Street will remain open during this project, which is expected to be complete on or about July 20.

With the 2005 construction season now underway, motorists are encouraged to sign up for weekly and last-minute construction updates by subscribing to City Hall News on the City of Midland website at www.midland-mi.org under the “What’s New/Updates” heading.
