CITY OF MIDLAND FIRE DEPARTMENT

WEBSITE OFFERINGS EXPANDED

With Midland citizens’ safety in mind, the Midland Fire Department has added more fire prevention and safety information to the City’s website (www.midland-mi.org).

In addition to existing information on the site, such as links to emergency contact numbers and Midland fire and response statistics, web users can now learn how to develop a home escape plan and read fire prevention tips on everything from carbon monoxide detection to vehicle fires.

New additions to the site also explain where to go to replace drivers licenses, birth certificates, and other important papers and items after a fire. The department’s fire safety inspection process is explained, and a frequently asked questions web page lists some of the most common questions firefighters hear from citizens.

Internet users can quickly and easily find the Fire Department’s web pages. Once on the City’s website, under the Services navigation bar, choose Fire Department to access the department’s home page.

For those without access to the worldwide web, much of this information is available by contacting the Fire Department at 989-837-3410.
