SAGINAW ROAD CONSTRUCTION WORK STARTS TUESDAY

Saginaw Road will be reduced to one lane in each direction at Main Street to accommodate construction of a water main crossing. This work, which is part of a larger Saginaw Road water main replacement project, will begin on Tuesday, August 16.

While the lane reduction is in effect, left turns from westbound Saginaw Road onto Main Street will not be permitted.

Northbound Main Street will be closed from Sugnet Road to Saginaw Road to accommodate the water main work crossing Saginaw Road. A detour route will be posted for northbound Main Street directing motorists to Sugnet Road, Orchard Drive and Saginaw Road.

It is estimated that the work will be complete in three days. Motorists should expect delays during this time period and are encouraged to plan accordingly.
