PORTION OF MIDFIELD LANE

PERMANENTLY CLOSING ON MONDAY

Beginning Monday, October 10, Midfield Lane from just south of the Village of Joseph’s Run entrance to Soccer Drive will be permanently closed and replaced with a parking lot. The closure is due to expansion of the Midland Soccer Complex.

To replace Midfield Lane, a new street connection was constructed between Joseph Drive and Diamond Drive.

Directional signs will be permanently posted in the area directing motorists into and out of the soccer complex.

A map detailing where the newly configured roads begin and end appears on the City of Midland website at www.midland-mi.org. Under the “What’s New/Updates” heading, click on the Construction Updates link, and scroll down the page to find the appropriate map.

Motorists may sign up for weekly and last-minute construction updates by subscribing to City Hall News on the City of Midland website at www.midland-mi.org under the “What’s New/Updates” heading.
