SWEDE AVENUE RECONSTRUCTION

STARTING THURSDAY

Swede Avenue reconstruction and resurfacing from Patrick Road to Ashman Street is expected to begin Thursday, July 14.

As part of the project, a portion of storm sewer will be replaced from Rapanos Drive to Ashman Street. In addition, a small section of water main will be replaced near the intersection of Swede and Eastlawn Drive.

Motorists are encouraged to find alternate routes around this construction area to avoid congestion and delays.

The completion date for the project is late September.

With the 2005 construction season now underway, motorists are encouraged to sign up for weekly and last-minute construction updates by subscribing to City Hall News on the City of Midland website at www.midland-mi.org under the “What’s New/Updates” heading.
