WACKERLY STREET PROJECT BEGINS TUESDAY

Beginning Tuesday, September 6, work will begin on the Wackerly Street Reconstruction project. This project includes resurfacing of Wackerly Street from Jefferson Avenue to Indian Ridge Drive and intersection improvements on Wackerly Street at Jefferson Avenue.

The street will remain open during construction, with intermittent lane closures to facilitate construction.

The project is expected to be complete by mid-October.

With the 2005 construction season still underway, motorists are encouraged to sign up for weekly and last-minute construction updates by subscribing to City Hall News on the City of Midland website at www.midland-mi.org under the “What’s New/Updates” heading. Motorists may also check the construction updates page on the City of Midland website for construction detour maps and details. Look under the “What’s New/Updates” heading.
