WACKERLY STREET REDUCED TO ONE LANE

ON THURSDAY AND FRIDAY

Wackerly Street from Jefferson to Siebert streets will be reduced to one lane on Thursday and Friday, September 22 and 23, for cold-milling and paving operations. Cold-milling is the process of removing the surface of the existing pavement for the new pavement overlay.

Motorists are encouraged to seek alternate routes around the construction to avoid traffic congestion and delays.

All lanes will be reopened by Friday evening.

With the 2005 construction season still underway, motorists are encouraged to sign up for weekly and last-minute construction updates by subscribing to City Hall News on the City of Midland website at www.midland-mi.org under the “What’s New/Updates” heading.
