TIME TO REMOVE DECORATIONS

FROM MIDLAND CEMETERY

In preparation for the fall and winter months, families maintaining plots at the Midland Cemetery should remove annual flowers, artificial decorations and their receptacles from cemetery plots by October 1. Beginning October 6, cemetery personnel start their fall clean up of the cemetery. Items remaining on plots are collected and discarded.

Annual flowers, artificial decorations and their receptacles may remain in the cemetery from May 1 to October 1. Winter decorations such as evergreen blankets or wreaths may be applied beginning Thanksgiving Day and remain on gravesites through April 1.
