CITY OFFICES CLOSE FOR LABOR DAY

The Labor Day holiday weekend is just around the corner. In recognition of the holiday, all City of Midland offices will close on Monday, September 4.

Refuse and recyclables will not be collected on Monday, September 4. Instead, a double pickup will be made on Tuesday, September 5. Residents normally scheduled for Monday and Tuesday collection should place items at the street curb by 8 a.m. Tuesday to ensure collection.

The City of Midland Sanitary Landfill and Grace A. Dow Memorial Library will close on Labor Day, but will have normal Saturday hours. Both will be closed on Sunday, September 3. Sunday hours for the library resume on September 10, from 1-5 p.m.

Dial-A-Ride Transportation System will not operate on Labor Day. However, buses will run during normal Saturday and Sunday hours of operation.

Jack Barstow Municipal Airport will be unattended on Labor Day.
