CITY OF MIDLAND CALENDAR PHOTO CONTEST BEGINS

Do you have a great photo of the Midland community? If so, enter it in the City of Midland Community Photo Contest!

Artwork for the 2007 City of Midland Calendar and Services Guide will feature photos of the Midland community. Individuals are invited to submit color photos of Midland events, people at work or play in our community, scenic or historic places around town, or just your favorite snapshot of Midland.

There is a limit of six photo entries per photographer. All photos must be submitted as color originals. Calendar photos will be selected on the basis of originality, creativity and the quality of reproduction.

Photo entries will be accepted at the City Manager’s Office through Friday, October 6. Photos to be used in the calendar will be selected in late October, and chosen entrants will be notified by mail.

Photo entry forms and further information are available at City Hall and the Grace A. Dow Memorial Library. Photo entry forms may also be downloaded from the City of Midland website at www.midland-mi.org.

The 2007 City of Midland Calendar and Services Guide will be mailed to Midland residents and will be available to the general public in December 2006.
