THREE FREE WEEKS OF

YARD WASTE BAG COLLECTION BEGINS OCTOBER 9

The City of Midland will offer three free weeks of yard waste collection from Monday, October 9 through Friday, October 27. During this period, the City will suspend the 25-cent per bag sticker typically required on yard waste bags.

Yard waste is collected curbside in kraft paper compost bags or 95-gallon yard waste bins. Yard waste includes grass clippings, leaves, garden wastes and small twigs and branches.

The City will begin collecting leaves raked into the gutter once a significant leaf drop has occurred city-wide. On major city streets, leaves raked onto the outlawn will be collected.
