MAIN STREET FROM COOK TO ORCHARD

CLOSED FOR WATER MAIN PROJECT

September 7, 2007 – On Monday, September 10, Main Street will be completely closed from Cook Road to Orchard Drive for the continuation of a two-month water main project that began in late August. For the duration of the project, Main Street traffic will be detoured using Sugnet Road and Orchard Drive.

It is anticipated that the project will be completed by early November.

Motorists are encouraged to sign up for weekly and last-minute City of Midland construction updates by subscribing to City Hall News on the City’s website at www.midland-mi.org; under the “Services” header, look for the “Communications/News” link to find information on City Hall News. Motorists may also check the construction updates page on the City’s site for construction detour maps and details. Look for the City Construction News link on the site’s home page.
