OCTOBER 9 DEADLINE FOR REGISTERING TO VOTE IN
NOVEMBER 6 GENERAL ELECTION

September 28, 2007 – The deadline for registering to vote in the November 6 General Election is October 9 at 5 p.m.

Persons may register to vote at any Secretary of State office or at the city, village, or township clerk’s office where they reside.

When registering to vote, please have your driver’s license or other form of identification that lists your current address.

To register to vote in Michigan, you must be a resident of Michigan and the city or township where you are applying to register to vote, a citizen of the United States of America, at least 18 years of age by Election Day, and not serving a sentence in jail or prison.
