LOOK “FORE” CURRIE GOLF INFORMATION ONLINE

March 28, 2008 – With the golf season about to begin, now is a good time to look “fore” information on golf specials, merchandise, booking a tee time, and other details on Currie Municipal Golf Course’s new website, www.curriegolf.com.

The site allows golfers to book their tee time online at Currie West and Currie East courses, and features the rating, slope, and scorecard for Currie West, Currie East, and the Par 3 Course. Information on Currie’s rates, maintenance schedule, driving range, plus how to schedule outings, is posted on the site. In addition, course-sponsored tournament and outing dates will be posted as soon as they are scheduled.

To find out how to get to Currie, click on the Directions to Course link to check out a Google map plus written directions from surrounding communities. And, as details are finalized, check back to the site to learn how to sign up for golf lessons, clinics, and for news about activities at Currie Golf Course.

The new site was launched in anticipation of Currie’s opening day, which is set for Friday, April 4, weather permitting. Although the course doesn’t open until April 4, golfers are welcome to stop by the Currie Clubhouse to meet the new golf manager, Paul Milholland.
