MIDLAND’S CABLE ACCESS CHANNELS MOVING

November 25, 2009 – Midland’s cable access channels are moving. Charter Communications has notified the City of Midland and Charter subscribers that Midland’s four cable access channels are moving to new numbers on the dial, effective Tuesday, December 1.

• MCTV 3, Community Voices, the public access channel will move to Channel 99.
• MGTV 5, Midland Government Television, will move to Channel 96.
• MCTV 15, Messages, will move to Channel 97.
• MPS-TV 17, the Midland Public Schools channel, will move to Channel 98.

These channels will also be available in the digital tier, channels 991-994.

All four channels reach approximately 20,000 subscribers within the city and the surrounding area. MCTV is a service of the City of Midland.
