MIDLAND CIVIC ARENA SEEKS ADULT HOCKEY PLAYERS & TEAMS

August 6, 2010 – Players and teams interested in participating in the Midland Civic Arena’s Adult Hockey League have until Wednesday, September 8 to register for the 2010 Fall Season.

Team representatives and players are invited to attend a meeting at the Civic Arena on Wednesday, August 18 at 6:30 p.m. to discuss the upcoming season.

“C” level and “D” level leagues will begin on September 19 and go through December 23, 2010. The league consists of one scrimmage and 14 games (13 regular season games and at least one playoff game). The cost of the program is $2,795.00 per team. Players must also be members of USA Hockey, Inc.; register for membership online at www.usahockey.com.

Independent players who wish to play but are not part of a team may have their name added to the Civic Arena’s free agent list, which is referenced by teams looking to fill open spots. If a player does not get on a team that way, a free agent skate is planned for Wednesday, August 25 at 7 p.m.; if enough free agents are in attendance, a team will be formed for these participants.
