E. ASHMAN STREET RECONSTRUCTION
STARTS MONDAY
August 18, 2010 –
A 10-week project involving reconstruction of E.
Ashman Street between Waldo Avenue and the US-10 overpass begins Monday, August
23.
The project involves replacement of
sanitary sewer force main and gravity main, curb and gutter replacement, and
complete street reconstruction of E. Ashman Street just west of US-10.
During the project, E. Ashman will
be closed to through traffic and a detour will be established using Waldo,
Wheeler, Rockwell, and Patrick streets to route motorists around construction.
An anticipated completion date has
been extended to November 19.
With the 2010 construction season in full swing, motorists
are encouraged to sign up for weekly and last-minute construction updates by
