August 27, 2010 – The
Labor Day holiday weekend is just around the corner. In recognition of the holiday, all City of
Midland offices will be closed on Monday, September 6.
Refuse and recyclables will not be collected on Monday, September 6. Instead, a double pickup will be made on Tuesday, September 7. Residents normally scheduled for Monday and Tuesday collection should place items at the street curb by 7:30 a.m. Tuesday to ensure collection.
The City of
The Midland Civic Arena will be closed the entire Labor Day weekend, September 4 – 6.
Dial-A-Ride Transportation System will not operate on Labor Day. However, buses will run during normal Saturday hours of operation.
