MIDLAND POLICE DEPARTMENT AUCTION
SET FOR
April 27, 2012 – The City of Midland Police Department will hold
its annual bike auction on Saturday, May 5 at the Municipal Service Center,
4811 N. Saginaw Rd. The doors open at

60 bikes of various makes, colors and sizes will be auctioned off. Other unclaimed personal property as well as
surplus items from various City departments will also be on the auction block.

of the items included in the auction had been abandoned and were recovered by
the Midland City Police Department. Law
enforcement officials attempt to identify such items with stolen property
reports. If the owners of the items
cannot be identified, or owners do not claim the materials, the items are put
up for auction after being held by the Police Department for six months.
Revenue
generated from the auction becomes part of the City of
