June 21, 2012 – New voter identification cards are being mailed to all City of Midland registered voters this week.
City of Midland ward and precinct boundaries were adjusted in March as a result of the 2010 census. Some voters may be assigned to a new ward or precinct and may experience a change in their polling location. The new voter identification card identifies the voter’s newly assigned ward, precinct, and polling location address. This information should be utilized when voting in the August Primary Election and all elections that follow.
Registered voters who show up at the wrong polling location on Election Day will be directed to their new polling location to vote.
If you do not receive a new red, white and blue voter identification card by June 29, or if you have questions about your polling location, please contact the Midland City Clerk’s Office at 989-837-3310.
