April 16, 2013 Midland area youth… celebrate Greater Midland as a great place for young people with the Great Lakes Loons.

To recognize our community’s award as one of the 100 Best Communities for Young People, K-12 youth will have the chance to receive a free ticket to the April 20 Great Lakes Loons game against the Lake County Captains.  All you have to do is show up for the 5:05 p.m. game and ask for your free 100 Best Communities for Young People ticket at the Loons’ ticket window.  A free ticket will be given out to the first 200 youth that claim one.

The celebration marks the fifth year Midland has received national recognition as one of the 100 best places for youth in America.  Greater Midland – comprised of Midland County – was recognized for its collaborative and innovative work to ensure kids stay in school and for programs and services that make the community an outstanding place for youth to live, learn, and thrive.

Tickets are for K-12 youth only, one per person, for the April 20, 2013 Loons game. Tickets may only be claimed the night of the game.  No advance/reserved tickets will be available. Youth must be present to secure a ticket.  200 tickets will be available on a first come, first served basis while supplies last.
